Auntie Rachael Arrives

Mummy and Daddy took me to SFO airport to wait for my Auntie Rachael to arrive from England. We tried to make a bit of a fuss.

I Get a Passport

Good news! Today my passport arrived! So now I can go to England with Mummy soon! The news knocked me for six, as you can see.

Meeting Daddy at Work

Mummy drove me to Daddy's work this afternoon. We brought brownies and beer with us so people could celebrate. Mummy decided to redecorate his cubicle while she was there.

First Trip to the City

Tonight Daddy drove the three of us up to San Francisco for dinner with my cousin Jenny. Do you like my jeans?

Meeting Daddy for Lunch

Today Mummy took me along to Daddy's work and the three of us had lunch together in the cafeteria. My Social Security Number arrived too!

My First Bath

I got in a mess again, so Mummy and Daddy set up my Winnie the Pooh bath tub. It was a bit strange at first, but I think I liked sitting in the warm water.

Daddy Goes Back to Work

Today Daddy had to go back to work, so he left me with Mummy all day. I prefer it when the three of us are together!

Two Weeks Old

I am two weeks old today. Early this morning my umbilical stump fell off so my belly button looks much cuter now. I always seem to be hungry. I'm knocking back the white stuff every couple of hours.

Lovely Flowers

We have been getting lots of lovely flowers from friends and family members since I was born. These arrived today from Great Uncle Russell and Great Aunt Karen.

Birth Certificate

Today Mummy & Daddy collected my birth certificate, so now I am a real Californian. They also managed to squeeze in an appointment to get me a US passport, so hopefully I'll be able to visit all of my family in England soon. I had to pose nicely for the camera, but it always adds 10lbs, which is a lot when you are only 8lbs to begin with!

Sponge Bath

I got myself into a bit of a mess today, so Mummy and Daddy gave me a sponge bath. I didn't like that bit so much, but I love my duck towel.

Hand and Foot Prints

Mummy and Daddy were sneaky today. While I was sleepy after eating, they took some casts of my hand and foot prints. They also took ink prints. One of the casts is of our index fingers, Mummy's left, Daddy's right and my right.

Presents From England

A package arrived today from my Great Auntie Marg in England. She sent me a soft new friend.

Out Shopping Again

Mummy and Daddy took me for a stroll around Stanford Mall, then made me pose for pictures with them.

I'm Tall

I look a little different every day. As you can see, I'm tall already!

Don't I Look Cute When I'm Asleep?

Mummy, Daddy and I didn't do much today. I think they were just staring at me all day in amazement.

Chinese Food

We went to another Doctor today to see if I had gained any weight yet. She said I was 8lbs 9oz now, so either I just didn't stop eating today or something was wrong with those scales yesterday! Tonight Mummy & Daddy went out for Chinese food. I mostly just watched, then pooped when I got home.

First Outing

I had to see the Doctor today to see if everything was OK on my first day home. She said I had lost too much weight and needed to eat more since I was only 7lbs 4oz. but I think I'm eating a lot already!

Afterwards we went to the shops because Mummy likes to buy me nice things. After all that I was tired, so I went to sleep in my bassinet.

Welcome Home

Mummy & Daddy had to spend a few days in the hospital with me, but today I got to come home for the first time. They have a nice place! And the car is pretty sweet too.

I'm Tiny

Still in the hospital while Mummy gets better. Seems like I've got some growing to do since Daddy's finger is bigger than my foot!

Hi. My name is Freddie William Bennett and I was born today at 11:22am PDT in Redwood City, California. I weighed 8lbs 7.4oz and measured 22 inches long. My Mummy & Daddy spent a long time in the hospital waiting for me, but I arrived one day before my due date.
